We catalyze scientific discoveries to benefit people all over the world.

Harvey Family Foundation is an Oklahoma City-based family foundation. It was created because the family felt impelled to give back, be generous and work to better the lives of people: loved ones, their community and the world at large.

The Foundation catalyzes and facilitates conversations and connections with the specific purpose of generating ideas, and creating dynamic opportunities in scientific research to impact lives everywhere—from family and friends, to people across the globe.

Harvey Family Foundation’s values are founded in a multi-generational tradition of generosity, gratitude, integrity, challenge and competitiveness. It’s in this spirit that the organization is poised to change the trajectory of scientific discovery to the fulfillment of its mission.

Harvey Family Foundation is engaged in strategic collaborations or partnerships through grant giving. It’s currently working with Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, co-funding a three-year gene therapy program platform at MIT. Specifically, this grant is focused on PASTE, a new CRISPR platform designed to insert large pieces of DNA into the genome. Another goal is to help smaller donors find ways to engage in collective giving by facilitating discussions about leaving legacy gifts so that, through their estates, they can contribute to organizations that assist and advocate for people with cystic fibrosis.
